After sending our friend to Shimizu Station. We went to Hotel Sun Port ホールさんポート to check in. The hotel was very near to ShinShimizu Station 新清水駅, but not Shimizu Station, I mistook Shinshimizu station as Shimizu station. Luckily, it was only around 10 minutes walk from the hotel to Shimizu station.
Then, we drove to Miho no Matsubara 三保松原, an attractions nearby. It is a seashore with white sands and long line of green pine trees. If the sky was clear, one could see the Mt. Fuji from here too.

There was a legend associated with the Miho Matsubara, an angel was fascinated with the beauty of the place, so she stopped by, and hanged her feathered robe on one of the pine tree before bathing in the crystals clear sea water. A fisherman took the feathered robe and refused to return that to the angel unless she performed a heaven dance for him, in order to return to heaven, the angel obliged and danced for the fisherman. That pine tree was called Hagoromo no Matsu 羽衣の松.

Then, we walked to the beach. It was so beautiful. However, we couldn't see Mt. Fuji from here, too bad. It was actually a famous spot for Mt. Fuji watching.

Shimizu Port was famous too. However, we had to return our rental car before 7pm. So, we left for Shizuoka City after the pine trees visit. We returned the car, the Madza car rental shop was quite far from Shizuoka Station, by the time I reached the station, I was so hungry. The Shizuoka Station was surrounded by commercial buildings, really a big city!
There was an Indonesian Restaurant inside Shizuoka Station, so we had dinner there. It was so delicious! Reminded me of Malaysian food. I missed nasi lemak.
