There're many blogs and websites that gave the Cetaphil Skin Cleanser a very high rating. They mentioned that it's a good drug store cleanser. When I saw the word "drug store", I thought it's not too expensive. After reading so much about this cleanser, I decided to get it. I went to Guardian Pharmacy after work one day and couldn't find it, have to ask the salesperson to find it for me. It was placed on the bottom of the rack. Anyway, when I saw it, I was actually quite surprised with the price, it was definitely not wallet friendly, for the 125ml bottle, the price was almost RM60, not really cheap in terms of my budget.

Anyway, I bought a bottle because I was having pimples that time and the reviews on this cleanser was really glowing. Some even claimed that after using this cleanser, the acne improved a lot. However, I ended up not using it right after I bought it. I wanted to finish up the Exuviance Purifying Cleansing Gel first. Somehow, it took me a long time to finish it. Then, I think two months ago I found out that this Cetaphil cleanser are going to expire on 31st October 2015, and I haven't even started to use it. I never knew cleanser has expiry date too.
To avoid wasting money, I started to use this. When I bought this cleanser last year, I was still having acne, but my face has been very kind to me starting this year. So, I didn't see any improvements on my face after using this cleanser. I was having acne for so long that now I considered a clear face is good enough for me, Hahaha!
I am used to non lather up cleanser, so Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser was no problem to me, it has no foam at all. It has some faint smell too, but I could only smell it for the first few times, after awhile, either the smell dissipated or my nose just treated it as normal and ignored the smell.
Well, I didn't know whether this cleanser is good or not. For me, I think sometimes it didn't clean well. After cleansing, when I applied toner with cotton pad, sometimes there's yellow stain on the pad. I just applied the toner twice if something like this happened, I think it didn't manage to clean off the sunscreen properly because it didn't happen on my morning routine.
For my brother though (he came home for the university holiday and used the cleanser), this cleanser seems to work for him. His face cleared up a lot, which I am not sure it was due to the cleanser or the holiday did the trick for him.

I didn't like the packaging, the bigger bottle came with a pump, but for this 125ml type, just a normal cap. So whenever I tried to pour some cleanser out, some liquid would flow sideways and it would be wasted. This cleanser was quite runny, I think the viscosity was around the same with water. A pump type would be more suitable.

Now that I have tried this cleanser and it didn't break me out. I would say this is a good cleanser. However, I wouldn't repurchase this. It's quite pricey for me.
