Go Green with Baby Diapers

My mom helps to babysit a baby during the day for quite some time. Well, she gets to earn extra money and it's a way to pass time. I just realized that she re-use diaper's cover. Well, it's a trick that many mothers knew, just sharing this out for those who don't know.
  1. Take a used soiled diaper, make a hole at one side, remove all the cotton, wash it and dry it under the sun (it helps to kill germ too!).
  2. After dry, take a clean cloth, fold it and insert through the hole made earlier.
  3. It's good to use! (after use, have to clean both the cover and cloth)
Green Diapers
What is the criteria for the cover? It seems that the diaper should have really good sticker, even after many washes, it won't lose the adhesiveness. According to my mom, this way is better than the plastic pants because it fits and the urine won't flow out, plus the baby won't get rashes easily because the need to change frequently. The only downside is it's such a chore, have to wash the clothes and the covers everyday.

Anyhow, when the baby grows bigger, the cover have to be changed too because it will be too small and urine will flow out. Hahaha, need to make a trip to supermarket to get another bigger size diaper!

Before the baby is potty trained, doing this will help to reduce waste and save money! (^_^)v
