Deadly Decisions by Kathy Reichs

Bought this book from The Big Bad Wolf sales. I am a fan of the TV series "Bones", so I read many novels from Kathy Reichs too. The main differences of the Dr. Brennan in the novels and the dramas were the novel Brennan was older, based in Canada, has a adult daughter, and an alcoholic.

Although I feel that the title of this book didn't match the story, the story is quite engaging. The main theme of this novel is about biker gangs fight and murder. Initially, the protagonist Dr. Brennan was investigating a case of a twins bikers. Both of them were killed in a explosion and since both were identical twins, the identification became difficult. Well, after some investigations by Dr. Brennan. She managed to identify the twins.

Then, while investigating another case, she excavated a young girl incomplete remains along with two sets of bones. Although she got the identity of the dead gang members. She couldn't get the identity of the young girl initially, then more murders of gang members were found to be intertwined and she managed to find the truth of the girl's murder.

In the story too, Brennan's nephew came to stay with her and befriended a guy that's related to the murder cases. Initially, I thought that guy was the murderer, the ultimate bad guy. My guess was wrong, that guy was not a good guy, but he wasn't the murderer. Ah, the suspense makes the book interesting!

Well, the side story is Brennan's  and and off lover, Andrew Ryan was embroiled in a drug scandal and she taught she mis-trusted Andrew. Luckily, at the end of the story, it appeared that Andrew became a undercover cop in the biker gang.
