Nature Republic (Snail Therapy Mask Sheet)

This was another mask that I bought from Korea, from Nature Republic too. I was a bit scared because the last Nature Republic mask that I used cause prickling sensation right after it touched my face.

From the package, it states that the mask contains snail secretion filtrate (not much actually, 100 ppm only)  and it claims it will make the skin firm and smooth by supplying moisture and nutrition to dry skin. It caused a bit tingling sensation to my face, but I chose to ignore it because earlier, I applied some of the liquid on my palm and nothing happens. So, it is not a sensitivity issue. Well, I don't know whether it hydrates my skin or not, but it definitely makes my skin smoother. However, it only lasts for one day. Hahahah!

Steam Potato Using Rice Cooker

Rice cooker has many uses. I use rice cooker to steam potato. Doing that while cooking the rice saves electricity and time, plus the end product mimics the potato boiled for hours. 

*for the water level, just the normal amount of water (just nice for the amount of rice) is enough, I made the mistake initially for adding too much water, the rice turns soggy. After that, I tried with normal water level, the rice and potato both turn out good.

Roasted Tea with Ginger 生姜焙じ茶

I bought a pack of tea (Roasted Tea with Ginger 生姜焙じ茶) from a farmer's market. Inside the tea bag, ginger is mixed with roasted tea. It tastes good. Since the tea is roasted, it is not that so bitter and the ginger makes it smells nice.

Korean Instant Noodle (made with Potato)

I bought instant noodle made with potato from Korea. The noodle texture is kinda chewy, not the same with the normal noodle made with flour. I kinda like the texture. However, the soup is so so only.

Due to the starch, it was very difficult to clean the pot. I scrubbed a few times and the stain still remained. I gave up and cooked something else on the same pot. However, after I cooked something with that pot, the starch was gone. My friend told me that, if want to clean something with starch, we can just boil water with that pan, the starch will be gone and the pan will be squeaky clean. I wished I knew it earlier!

One Piece Puzzle (Kyoto & Okinawa)

I did not go back home for Chinese New Year celebrations. So, spending all the time today in front of computer looking at the updates of friends and family on the facebook. After awhile, I felt sad. So, decided to do something else. I did jig-saw puzzle. I bought both of the puzzles from a hobby shop in Okinawa. In that shop, the 'One Piece' puzzle from all the prefectures in Japan were available. So, I bought a Kyoto themed puzzle too. I like the way the eyes of Chopper and Luffy glittered after seeing the Kinkakuji (a temple with gold leaves coating).

However, for my Kyoto themed jig-saw puzzle, 10 pieces were missing. First I thought I could ask for the remaining pieces from the maker. However, later I found out that the maker guarantee is only until one year after manufactured. So sad, now I am stuck with a incomplete puzzle!(・・;)

Bought this book from Amazon after watching Julie&Julia. However, when I was browsing through the book list, the cover includes the photos from the movie, first I hesitated because I wanted Julia Child's biography, not the story of Julie&Julia. I have seen the movie and I knew the storyline. Then, after making sure that the story is not about the Julie's project. I bought this book.
