First stop was Mt. Kaimondake Natural Park. However, before Mt. Kaimon, we stopped by the Lake Ikeda first. From the Lake Ikeda, Mt. Kaimon can be seen clearly, this mountain is a very typical mountain with cone shape due to volcano explosion years ago. There's a legend that a lake monster was seen years before. So, a big statue of the lake monster was erected near the lake. A big patch of poppy flower was planted there, very beautiful! I thought that poppy was illegal. After that, we proceeded to Mt. Kaimon. Since we were not in the mood of climbing, we didn't climb the Mt. Kaimon. we just drove around the natural park.

After that, we went to Nagasaki-bana by the seaside. The is a light house there. After that, we went to the Ibusuki sand onsen. The queue was long, we waited for a very long time for our turn. My friend told me that it would be very hot, however, my body could stand the heat, so the only thing I felt was heavy warm sand covered my body, nothing else. However, it was quite an experience.
*Normal onsen, one have to be naked. But for sand onsen, one will get the chance to wear yukata, not naked!

Since queuing up for the sand onsen wasted most of our time, we had to rush to Chiran to visit the Chiran peace museum. It was a former military base. The museum only stated what the kamikaze pilots wrote before they went to bomb off other people places. It doesn't mention who is the victim here. So, this point should be improved. Like usual, this kind of place make people upset. Before we went back to Kagoshima, we went to Chiran Buke Yashiki, there are a lot of beautiful old houses. After that, we went back to Kagoshima city. And went to a shop called "tontoro 豚とろ" to eat ramen. The name is very cute! We brought along the brochure that introduce this place, so, everyone got a half boiled egg free. After that, we walked around Kagoshima city centre, and came across the 'white bear' ice. Since all of us were quite full, we just ordered one to eat. Not so delicious, but cute!
